Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. By engaging ASA Logistics, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ASA Logistics website at asalogistics.co.uk and the logistics, freight, and courier services we provide (“Services”). By accessing our website or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services. ASA Logistics is a company registered in England and Wales. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to ASA Logistics. References to “you” or “your” refer to the customer or user.

2. Our Services

ASA Logistics provides the following logistics and freight services: • Air freight (domestic and international) • Sea freight (FCL and LCL, including China to UK) • Customs clearance and brokerage • European courier and cross-border logistics • Same-day, next-day, and overnight UK delivery • Specialist transport (ADR, temperature-controlled, white glove, two-man) The specific scope, pricing, and conditions of each service will be detailed in a written quotation or booking confirmation. All quotations are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

3. Bookings and Contracts

A binding contract between you and ASA Logistics is formed when: (a) you submit a booking request and we issue a written booking confirmation; or (b) you accept a written quotation and we confirm acceptance. You must ensure all shipment information provided is accurate, including cargo descriptions, weights, dimensions, hazard classifications, and addresses. ASA Logistics accepts no liability for delays, costs, or losses arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking that involves prohibited goods, incorrect declarations, or where we reasonably believe the booking poses a legal, safety, or reputational risk.

4. Prohibited Goods

We do not accept the following goods for transport under any circumstances: • Illegal or controlled substances • Counterfeit or fraudulently described goods • Human remains (without specific prior written agreement) • Live animals (unless pre-agreed in writing with appropriate permits) • Weapons, firearms, or ammunition (without the required licences) • Currency, bearer bonds, or negotiable instruments • Goods that violate UK export controls or international sanctions • Undeclared dangerous goods For dangerous goods (ADR / IMDG / IATA DGR), full and accurate declarations are mandatory. Misdeclared dangerous goods are a criminal offence and will be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate where applicable. Payment terms are as agreed in your contract or quotation. Standard terms are payment within 30 days of invoice unless a credit account has been established. Late payment interest may be charged at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Fuel surcharges, port charges, customs duties, and other third-party fees may apply and will be itemised separately. ASA Logistics is not responsible for import duties and taxes payable in the destination country unless we have expressly agreed to act as importer of record.

6. Liability and Limitations

ASA Logistics liability for loss or damage to goods in transit is limited as follows: • For UK domestic shipments: Limited to the lesser of the repair/replacement value or £50 per kilogram of gross weight affected, up to a maximum of £2,000 per consignment, unless additional declared value cover has been purchased. • For international air freight: Governed by the Warsaw Convention / Montreal Convention — limited to SDR 22 per kilogram. • For international sea freight: Governed by the Hague-Visby Rules — limited to SDR 666.67 per package or SDR 2 per kilogram, whichever is higher. We are not liable for: consequential or indirect losses; delays caused by customs authorities, weather, or force majeure; loss or damage to prohibited or misdeclared goods; or losses arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer. Transit insurance is available — please request this at the time of booking.

7. Transit Times

All transit times quoted are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing as a time-definite service. Delays may occur due to customs examination, port congestion, adverse weather, carrier disruption, or other factors beyond our control. ASA Logistics will not accept liability for compensation arising from transit delays unless a guaranteed time-definite service has been booked and confirmed in writing.

8. Claims

Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within the following timeframes: • Visible damage: Must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery and reported to us within 3 days. • Concealed damage: Must be reported within 7 days of delivery. • Non-delivery (lost shipment): Must be reported within 28 days of the scheduled delivery date. Claims submitted outside these timeframes may not be accepted. All claims must be accompanied by supporting documentation, including the original invoice, packing list, photographs of damage, and the delivery receipt.

9. Website Use

Our website is provided for informational purposes. You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not: • Use the website in any way that breaches applicable law • Transmit unsolicited or unauthorised advertising material • Introduce viruses, trojans, or other malicious code • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the website for any user who breaches these Terms. 10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
