Temperature-Controlled Distribution: Vaccines Across 12 UK Sites
A pharmaceutical distributor required GDP-compliant cold chain delivery of vaccines to 12 clinical sites across England within a strict 6-hour window.
The Challenge
Vaccine integrity required continuous 2–8°C maintenance with real-time data logging. Multiple drop points across three regions, including rural locations, had to be serviced simultaneously with full chain-of-custody documentation.
Our Solution
ASA Logistics deployed three multi-zone refrigerated vehicles with calibrated data loggers, route-optimised for concurrent delivery. Each driver was GDP-trained and provided with a full temperature excursion protocol.
The Outcome
All 12 sites received compliant deliveries within the 6-hour window. Temperature logs were provided digitally within 30 minutes of final drop. Zero excursions recorded across the entire delivery run.
